Smaller Maintenance & Routine Care
We can carry out smaller maintenance work on cars to keep your vehicle mechanically sound.
From battery care and fluid top-ups to gentle exercises, your car is looked after at a leisurely, precise pace.
Insurance & Liability Coverage
We do not cover customer’s vehicles so they need to be covered under the owner’s own policy while in storage. Please note with your insurers that your car is to be stored with us, and is either covered for normal road driving, or off road policy covering fire/theft or accidental damage. I have a public liability insurance covering the premises.
Terms and Conditions
- Customers must have a “road risk”or at least a “third party laid-up” policy covering accidental damage while in storage. Your insurance company needs to be informed giving the location and contact details of Classic Touring.
- Invoicing – we invoice every three months once the time is completed. i.e. January, February, March will be invoiced 31st March. Four invoices per year. As we don’t ask for pre payment, invoices due must be paid promptly. There is no minimum period of storage.
- On termination of a storage period, a week’s notice is required so an invoice can be produced, which must be paid before final collection.
- For short term removal, the norm is to give 48 hours notice. The working day is between 9.00am and 5.00pm, but if possible times outside these hours can arranged. I am contactable by phone any time, any day.
- I try to answer, but I don’t use answerphone or voicemail so will return a “missed call”.
- Unfortunately for safety, security and insurance reasons we are unable to allow customers work on their own cars.
